The messages children replay are the ones with one or two details only your family would know, a pet's name, a sibling, a specific gift wish, or something kind they did this year. On Santa's Voice Message you add those in the form (gifts up to 50 characters, extra detail up to 200), and the recording is usually in your inbox in around 30 seconds after checkout.

Use the name they answer to at home. If it is hard to pronounce, add a pronunciation hint in the form so elves use it when writing the script. Age helps Santa mention school year or milestones in a natural way.
Instead of "lots of toys", try "LEGO Friends café set" or "blue scooter". Short and concrete fits the 50-character limit and gives Santa something believable to say on Christmas Eve.
One achievement or kind act lands better than a long list. Examples: helped a new child at school, learned to ride a bike, looked after a younger cousin. That is the line children remember.
A quick nod to a brother, sister, or the family dog makes the workshop feel like it knows your house. Keep it short so the script stays focused on the child listening.
