What to Write in a Letter to Santa
A good letter to Santa is short and honest: name, age, one or two gift wishes, something kind you did, and a question if they want. Parents can post it to the Royal Mail Santa service when available, then surprise them with a personalised voice reply that uses the same details.

Royal Mail sometimes runs a Letters to Santa scheme with a freepost address, check royalmail.com each autumn for the current postcode and deadline. Schools and grottos often collect letters too.

When a voice message feels like a reply
Copy the gift line from the letter into the 50-character field on Santa's Voice Message and add the proud moment from the letter in the 200-character box. Play the audio when the posted letter has 'gone to the North Pole'.

Should parents read the letter first?
Many do, quietly, so they know what to wrap and what to put in the Santa form. That is normal, Santa's magic is in the child's experience, not secrecy between adults.
